stuLib is a peer-to-peer library system designed for students to share and borrow books within their college community. It allows you to build a personal library, search for books from other students, and establish a network of knowledge sharing.

Currently, stuLib is available only for Pulchowk students. You need a valid Pulchowk college email address to sign up and verify your account. We plan to expand to other institutions in the future.

Yes! stuLib is completely free. There are no fees for signing up, borrowing books, or lending books to other students. It's a community-driven platform built by students for students.
Account & Sign Up

Click on "Sign Up" on the home page, enter your details, and use your Pulchowk college email address. You'll receive a verification email. Click the link in the email to verify your account and start using stuLib.

Email verification ensures that only genuine Pulchowk students have access to the platform. This protects the community and maintains the integrity of book sharing.

Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and enter your email. You'll receive instructions to reset your password. For security purposes, never share your password with anyone.
Books & Borrowing

Go to "My Books" and click "Add New Book". Fill in the book details (title, author, ISBN, condition, etc.) and click "Save". Your book will be added to your collection and become visible to other students.

You must have at least one book added in your collection before you can search for and borrow books from other students. This ensures that the platform remains fair and encourages community participation. Go to "My Books" and add your first book to unlock the search feature.

Use the Search feature to find books. Click on a book to view details and click "Request to Borrow". The book owner will receive your request and can approve or decline. Once approved, coordinate with the owner for pickup and return.

The borrowing period is negotiable between you and the book owner. Discuss and agree on a timeframe before exchanging the book. Always communicate and respect the agreed-upon return date.

If you damage or lose a borrowed book, contact the owner immediately and work out a resolution together. This could include replacement, repair, or compensation. Always treat borrowed books with care.

Yes! You can edit book details anytime from "My Books". If a book has pending requests, you should wait until requests are resolved before deletion. Mark books as unavailable if you don't want new requests.
